Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete the personal information we have collected about you.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
By submitting this request, you are directing MerchantsBI not to sell or share your Personal Information, as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq., including for cross-context behavioral advertising.
This right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information is only available to California residents or individuals properly acting on behalf of a California resident.
What this request means:
If you submit this form, MerchantsBI will not be permitted to sell or share your Personal Information with a third party in exchange for money or other valuable consideration, including for cross-context behavioral advertising. Upon receipt of a verifiable consumer request, MerchantsBI will take steps to ensure that no Personal Information of that individual is sold or shared, as defined by the CCPA.
What this request does not mean:
Submitting this form will not delete your MerchantsBI account or purchase history. MerchantsBI will still be permitted to contact you, via email, text or otherwise, based on contact preferences you have previously provided to MerchantsBI, MerchantsBI will still be able to market MerchantsBI products to you. MerchantsBI will still be able to provide your Personal Information to service providers performing services on MerchantsBI’s behalf, including but not limited maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, providing financing, providing advertising or marketing services, providing analytic services, or providing similar services on behalf of the business or service provider.
How do you submit a request?
You may submit this request by emailing us. MerchantsBI will only use the information you provide to process your request, including but not limited to corresponding with you regarding the completion of this request and for any other reason contemplated or permitted by the CCPA and its implementing regulations.
To complete the email, please email us at Support@MerchantsBI.com and put Do Not Sell or Share Opt-Out in the subject.
If you are an authorized agent submitting a request on behalf of a consumer, MerchantsBI may require the submission of additional documentation prior to fulfilling this request.
This request may also be submitted by calling us or contacting us through our website.
MerchantsBI may deny this request if MerchantsBI believes that the request is fraudulent.
Global Privacy Control
We honor Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, as required by applicable law. If your browser or device transmits a GPC signal, we will treat that signal as a valid opt-out request for the browser or device from which the signal is sent. For more information about GPC, please visit https://globalprivacycontrol.org.
Sensitive Personal Information
We do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal Information (as defined under the CCPA) for purposes that would require a right to limit under applicable law. To the extent we collect information that may qualify as Sensitive Personal Information in connection with the Platform (such as financial account information provided by our business customers through their integrations), such information is processed solely for the purpose of providing the services requested and is not used for any secondary purpose.
AI-Derived Inferences and Automated Processing
When you use our optional AI Features, we may generate inferences and predictions derived from your Customer Data, such as forecasts and projections. Under the CCPA, inferences drawn from personal information to create a profile about a consumer are themselves a category of personal information.
MerchantsBI uses such inferences solely to provide AI-assisted outputs within the Platform and to improve our AI/ML models. We do not sell or share AI-derived inferences with third parties for their own purposes.
If you are a California resident and wish to:
• Know what AI-derived inferences we hold about you;
• Request deletion of AI-derived inferences;
• Object to or restrict AI-based processing of your personal information; or
• Opt out of your data being used to train or improve AI/ML models (note: this will disable AI Features for your account);
please contact us at Support@MerchantsBI.com with the subject line California AI Privacy Request. We will respond within forty-five (45) days as required by the CCPA.
Use of AI Features is optional. If you prefer not to have your data used for AI processing, you may disable AI Features at any time through your account settings.
Freedom from Discrimination
You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of the rights in this section.
California residents that have an established business relationship with us can request a notice disclosing the categories of personal data we have shared with third parties during the preceding calendar year for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. To make such a request from us, if entitled, please use the contact information listed below.
If you are under 18 years of age and a California resident using the Services, at any time you can request that we delete information or remove content you have provided or posted. Please contact us at the information below for our assistance, including to request removal of your information or content. Note that the removal of information or content may not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of that information or content posted through the Services.
Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and Services that you do not wish such operators to track certain of your online activities over time and/or across different websites. MerchantsBI does not support Do Not Track requests at this time. However, we do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as described above.
